TOPIC: TV in our life.
AIMS:
-To expand pupils’ vocabulary
- to widen pupils knowledge to the topic
- to involve pupils into reading, writing, communicative activities,
EQUIPMENT: interactive board, computer, pictures, books, handouts.
PROCEDURE:
I. INTRODUCTION:
1.Greeting ,introduction of the topic of the lesson
Good morning! How are you getting on? Today we continue to speak about the mass media and I want you to help me to determine the topic of today’s lesson. Think a little and tell me what things helps us to be well-informed?
P.1: Newspapers
P.2: Radio
P.3: magazines
P.4: Television
Yes, you are right. They gives us information every day, but today we’ll speak about only radio and television.
. By the end of the lesson you are to get a great deal of new information about the television and levels of its popularity. Let’s begin with warming-up!
2. Warming-up:
Show “Blockbusters”. Students are given a definition of a word and they have to say what word is.

to attract - to make someone interested in something, or make them want to take part in something:: What attracted me most to the job was the chance to travel. The story has attracted a lot of interest in media.
to enrich- to improve the quality of something, especially by adding things to it: Education can enrich your life.
to focus on – special attention that is given to one particular subject or situation: Grammar based teaching, with its focus on accuracy rather than fluency.
to include -1. if a group or a set includes something or someone, it has that thing or person as one of its parts: Our tour party included several retired couples.2.- to make someone or something part а a large group or set: The team is looking strong, especially now when they have included Roscoe.
to spread - to become known about or used by people more and more: News of the explosion spread swiftly.
